Bruce MacDonald has a mystery on his hands and he would like your help identifying this soldier from the  Canadian Forestry Corps. There is reason to believe that the soldier belonged to either the 127th or 139th Company, both of which were based in Jedburgh during the First World War.

Bruce is working with the Scottish family who owns this family photo. It is believed they befriended this soldier and included him in a family photograph but sadly they have no record of who he was.

If you recognize this soldier or can help spread the word please contact Bruce MacDonald. Further information, including Bruce’s contact details, can be found on his First World War Veterans of Guysborough County website.
