My WW1 Reading List
There are hundreds of WW1 books in print and likely just as many titles that have been out of print for decades. Despite having run out of shelf space ages ago I continue to pick up books that interest me, especially those that focus on soldiers experiences.
The list below includes the titles I’ve read in the last few years, with the most recent titles near the top. Some of these books were published many years ago, including the fascinating “On the Remainder of our Front” written in 1916. A recent trip to Ireland accounts for the four books focusing on the Irish experience during the First World War … and there are two more still to be read.
