A postcard showing Royal Engineers from the First World War (click to enlarge)

This real photo postcard features a group of Royal Engineers. Unfortunately there is nothing written on back of the postcard in regards to unit, date or location. They appear to be wearing early cap badges (pre 1916) and I was wondering if they might be a territorial unit serving somewhere in Britain. Your opinions are always appreciated.
